BusSelecta.com
I created BusSelecta.com back in 2001 because of my hobby of air-cooled Volkswagens. It enabled the users to create their dream VW Bus, Beetle, VW Type 3 and pre 73 Porsche by choosing colours, wheels, accessories and even suspension height. It consisted of several Flash programs or "selectas". The simplistic illustration style seemed to go down well and at it's peak in popularity, it generated 11,000+ sessions in a single day.
When Flash fell from favour it was clear I needed to create a new version that worked in modern bowsers and more specifically on mobile devices. So, in early February 2023, the new Bus Selecta was finally released and was as popular as ever with 25,000+ sessions in the first month of release. The plan is to recreate the other versions as time allows.
